Love it. Beautiful color & finish. Heats up quick. Consistent! Love the wheel to move the unit around.
Review excerptMakes really good espresso and milk drinks. The dual boiler, 58mm filter and pid are great features in this price range.
Review excerptI truly enjoyed the cost/benefit of this machine.
Review excerptThis machine was an upgrade for me. I’d been using the Duo Temp, which is a great machine, but I finally needed more.
Review excerptWe have had our Dual Boiler for 3 1/2 years. It is, I think, our 4th espresso machine over the past 25 years.
Review excerptSame problem you'll read from others. Seems like boiler starts leaking and my GFIC protection triggers.
Review excerptThe Dual Boiler™ explained
Get to know dual boiler brewing, from simultaneous extraction and steaming to everyday care.
A dual boiler system uses two separate boilers: one heats water for espresso extraction, while the other produces steam for milk texturing. Each can operate at the temperature needed for its task.
The brewing boiler supplies temperature-controlled water to the coffee grounds, while the steam boiler supplies the steam wand. This lets you extract espresso and texture milk at the same time.
Compared with a single boiler that switches between brewing and steaming, a dual boiler allows both tasks to happen together. Separate temperature control also helps maintain stable brewing conditions while steam remains available for milk.
Regular care includes cleaning the portafilter and filter baskets, emptying the drip tray, and wiping and purging the steam wand after use. Follow your model’s manual for cleaning cycles, water-filter replacement and descaling. Descaling frequency depends on water quality and usage; two boilers alone do not mean more frequent descaling is needed.
