Which capsules can I use?
Use Nespresso Vertuo capsules compatible with the Vertuo Up. Original capsules are not compatible. Follow the preparation guidance for your chosen capsule.
Can I make lattes and cappuccinos?
Yes. Brew your coffee with the Vertuo Up, prepare milk separately in the Aeroccino3, then combine them. Adjust the amount of milk and froth to suit your drink.
Does the Aeroccino3 make cold milk froth?
Yes. Press and hold its button for approximately two seconds to start cold frothing; the light turns blue. Use cold milk and stay below the maximum froth fill line.
Can I prepare iced coffee?
Yes. Choose a Vertuo capsule intended for an over-ice recipe and follow its recommended ice quantity and brewing instructions. Add cold milk or cold milk froth if you like.
Can I use plant-based milk?
Yes. You can try oat, soy or almond drinks in the Aeroccino3. Froth varies by brand and formulation; a barista-style version may give better results.
How do I keep the bundle clean?
Follow the Vertuo Up manual for rinsing, cleaning and descaling. Clean the Aeroccino3 after use with mild detergent and a non-abrasive cloth. Do not immerse its jug or base, put the jug in a dishwasher, or wet the electrical connection. Dry the parts before reassembling.
